Today, Im going to discuss some useful methods that anyone can use to help keep an open mind.

These 6 ways to keep an open mind are excellent tools that anyone can use to develop and practice the abilities to tame stubbornness, to overcome the notion to reject new ideas/information/technology/etc without giving them a chance, and to even cultivate an appreciation for such things. Everything that can be invented has been invented. – Charles H.

Duell, Commissioner of the U.S. Office of Patents. Year 1899 Being close-minded is a sure way to prevent growth and development, and I can only imagine that it is a miserable way to live life. Never experiencing new things would certainly make for an awfully boring journey through life. I try to always keep an open mind, but Ill admit that there are times when it is difficult to do so.

If so, practice these 6 ways to keep an open mind, and it should help you curb that. 1.Try foods that are new to you This is definitely the most challenging one for me. I have always been a picky eater.I stilloften struggle to give new foods a chance, but I challenge myself to keep an open mind and try a new food from time to time.

I know that even if I dont like the food after trying it, I will at least benefit from the experience. There are so many different types of food available in this world. I would hate to permanently limit myself to options that only include foods that I currently know that I like. 2.Listen to music that you ordinarily wouldnt listen to It always amazes me when someone claims to appreciate music, yet when asked what types of music they like, they only mention one genre.

in 2002 to provide assistance to children ages 6 to 12 whose day-to-day life is a constant struggle. The foundation is named in honor of his mother, a great teacher who dedicated her life to helping children combat the destructive combination of ignorance and poverty. It has opened numerous cultural and educational centers to provide these children with medical assistance and opportunities so that they can become healthy, contributing members of the community.

Daniel Chavez Moran was pleased to note in recent news that El Salvador, Spanish for the savior, the smallest and most densely populated country in Central America is hosting the 8th Forum of Ministers of Social Development in Latin America. The meeting is sponsored by the United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization (UNESCO), which reports that the President of El Salvador, H.E. Mr Carlos Mauricio Funes Cartagena, will participate in the opening session, as well as Pilar lvarez Laso, UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences. Representatives from Argentina, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, France, Honduras, Uruguay, Panam, Per and Mxico will particpate, among others.

One of the expected results of the forum will be the design and implementation of strategic and efficient policies for development involving youth and social inclusion.

Daniel Chavez Moran salutes the efforts of these leaders to exchange ideas on the state of the art of policies for social inclusion in Latin America, a shared goal with the nonprofit Vidanta Foundation Chavez Moran founded in 2005. According to the Woodrow Wilson Center, an affiliated institution of the Vidanta Foundation: In his prepared remarks given in English, Calderon stressed the deep economic interdependence that exists between the United States and Mexico and noted that one million U.S. families are employed by Mexican-owned companies. Calderon gave his remarks before a capacity crowd of approximately 600 attendees in the Amphitheater of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC. In his address at the forum, which followed a day of meetings with U.S. leaders, including President Barack Obama, President Calderon stressed the need for shared responsibility between Mexico and the United States in dealing with transnational organized crime groups. He compared organized crime to a cancer plaguing Mexico, and highlighted his government’s efforts to eradicate it.
