We try to think our way out of feeling. We learn to manage our feelings. We try to control them manipulate them stuff them down or repress them. Anything but simply feel them! Your heart longs to feel. But we learn at an early age were not supposed to feel.

Big boys dont cry.

Good little girls dont get angry. Dont be afraid. We end up stuffing down our true feelingsso we canfit in. We want to belong. And since everybody else is manipulating their feelings, we start doing it too.

But pain is caused by – 1. A separation from, 2. And a longing for, some thing. When youre separate from something you long for, it creates pain. When you manipulate or attempt to control your emotions in some way, so that the feelings are not able to be felt by your heart,it will create emotional pain.

Here is an ever growing list of investments we have made.

As we add more equipment, Ill update this page. All you need is a cheap rubber basketball, a bag of sand, a funnel, and duct tape. Slice hole in the basketball big enough to put the end of the funnel in. I ended up cutting the base of my funnel for faster filling. Stick the funnel in the ball and start filling with sand.

Once the ball is at the desired weight tape it up.

There are a bit smaller than the official medballs, but at the $5-$9 price point I am more than happy with these for both wall balls and medball cleans. Bar and bumpers This was a gift my Wife surprised me with for fathers day last year. We got one of the Bar and Bumper sets at Rogue Fitness with the ROGUE Hi-Temp Bumper Set and the Rogue Bar. Couldnt be happier with the set. This is one area where forking over the money to have good equipment is certainly worth it.
